GROUP TOTEM
This is art-team, which, depending on the time and mood, includes from 10 to 50 people, age of 16 to 61 years old. It was founded in Kherson in 1996 as a studio for the creation of television programs, but soon became a union of artists who worked primarily at the junction of traditional film and video art.
"Totem" members shoot films or acted in a film of their friends. The basic format is video art, short films, television liquid. Since 2002, "Totem" hosts an annual festival Terra Futura, during which demonstrates the achievements of its members and associates and is trying to bring the idea of contemporary art in a self-satisfied and self-sufficient provincial life. From time to time within the "Totem" born exhibition projects, which are implemented on a commercial basis to meet the authors in different types at different sites (open air, galleries, museums, planetariums, factories, etc.).
